5 Tips For Spotting Fradulent Football Agents
November 19, 2007
Unfortunately there are people in this world who have no backbone and will do anything to take advantage of others. Since we have seen increased agent and potential professional trial opportunities on ZZ it has and always will be our concern for the well fare of our membership, especially players trying to make their dreams become reality.
With that said, I wanted to provide some guidance to players on Ziga-Zoga that are wondering if they should act on a agent offer:
- DO NOT Prepay any agent for any promised trial.
- Establish a relationship with the person.
- Ask for references and their accredited license.
- Ask yourself, have the seen me play through a video and in person?
- Is the agent displaying a Ziga-Zoga badge?
If you follow these tips, it’s a good chance you will not be taken for a ride. And, that’s exactly what we don’t want to happen. So, please use your best judgement because if you feel the situation you are considering is not right, chances are you are correct. If anyone else has any thoughts on this matter please feel free to comment here.

Chuka,
Simply do not prepay any agent and request for them to provide their FIFA Players’ Agent License. Here is a list of all current licensed agents per country:
http://www.fifa.com/aboutfifa/federation/administration/playersagents/list.html
If you don’t see them listed then don’t do business with them is my advice.
Owolabi, I’m not a licensed agent so I cannot represent you but, you can find others in the link above that can. Tell them I sent you

I mean this is soo ridiculous as it has come to my knowledge that most people who pose to be agents on this beautiful site which is meant to be a community where people should meet, achieve their common goals and actualize thier dreams has all of a sudden been turned into an extortion zone by some fraudulent memebers.I dont understand why people dont appreciate the efforts of others,I mean Jason and his team worked soo hard to bring this into being and from nowhere, the agents that have been shortlisted to ba aware of want to destroy this beautiful community.plz I advise that whom ever want to deal with any one that poses to be an agent in this community should do that with special scrutiny.once again a big thank you to Jason and his crew for a job well done.
cheers and wish all truthful and sincere zigazoga members a merry xmaz and a happy new year in advance.

Thanks for the kind words Gzed. People just need to be cautious and understand how to verify agents legitimacy. Hopefully we have been able to educate members of what to look for with the resources we have provided and the actions put in place to deter posing agents.
Cheers,
Jason
